Second Session Considerations
Here are some animated before and after pictures of my clients second session going through the Rolfing® Structural Integration process and in this session the feet are one of the areas of focus. In the before picture you can see how his right foot has lateral rotation and continues up the lower leg where the muscles and fascia of the lower leg compartment migrate toward the midline. The lateral rotation continues up his right thigh into his hip. In the after picture you can see less rotation in the right foot and the muscle and fascia of his lower leg compartment shift back to a better placement and this shift in the right leg goes up the body and his right side has more lift as his head is more centered down the midline. Creating active feet is introduced in a second session and how an articulated foot can greatly enhance the action of walking with more fluidity and economy of motion. Creating awareness and providing education is the ongoing enterprise of Rolfing® Structural Integration. Contact us and make your appointment today.
